Phyllis Carreón Cesare-Taie brings over 35 years of experience as a Producer, Director, Executive Producer, Choreographer, Manager, Professional Model, Actress and Production coordinator in television, stage, film and commercials; on numerous projects for Disney, Walt Disney World, Paramount Studios, MGM, MTM Studios, Universal Studios, Stephen J. Cannel Productions, Warner Brothers, Stephen King, Sony Television, Citadel Productions, CBS, NBC, KTTV, Fox, Motown, Group W Productions, Magic Mountain, Disneyland, Knott’s Berry Farm, Superbowl XX; special projects with and under Bob Fosse, Michael Bennett, Shirley Jones, Peter Ueberroth and the 1984 Olympics in Los Angeles, CA. Co-producer on Stephen King film "Lucky Quarter" (2003);
2000-2017: Founder and President of Dream Vision International in Las Vegas, NV.


Historically, Ms. Cesare-Taie created the first and largest full-service motion picture and production studio facility in the state of Nevada, serving clients world-wide since 2000. Ms. Cesare-Taie has been recognized and praised for her visionary leadership and groundbreaking achievements in the state of Nevada with news coverage and appearances on networks and CNN as creating the first studio and production facility in the State of Nevada offering a full range of production support spanning 10 Divisions.

 

A "one-stop-shop", DVI offered a complete array of lighting, grip, crew services, hair, make-up, catering, set construction, prop department, art department, wardrobe/sewing and production rentals for your shooting necessities to streamline your production process. DVI also offer Event planning department and VIP services. She tributes the studio's success from inception to the efforts and support of Nevada's former Lt. Gov. Lorrainne Hunt-Bono, Sen. Harry Reid, film director Charlie Geocaris. Her reputation for perfection garnered her A-list celebrities and corporations.
Not only did Ms.Cesare-Taie create, manage and sustain a studio with a full range of event, production and support services (including band and dance rehearsal facilities), she founded the 44th Chapter of Women In Film in Las Vegas in 2002, thereby creating a unique educational and training programs for students of ALL ages.

2002- Current: Founder and President of Women In Film Las Vegas which continues to produce nation-wide events and “unique” educational programs. Such programs included the first ever attempted "International Stunt Training Clinic" in 2003, which was so successful, the second was held in 2005 and sponsored by GM (General Motors Corp.) andWIF Los Angeles. This groundbreaking stunt training program was the first to use “currently working stunt coordinators” to teach, instruct and train students. [Dennis “Dangerous” Madalone and Chuck Bordon (both of Star Trek fame); Spice Williams and Suzanne Rampe.] Today, from this footprint, there are stunt camps and clinics world-wide. Another groundbreaking educational programs, included “Something To Pitch About” and "Project c2c" (an Int'l screenplay completion involving the unions (WGA, SAG, etc.) where the winner’s script was optioned for a feature film.)

As early as 1980, Ms. Cesare-Taie was noted for thinking Out-of-the-Box; and an unconventional problem solver. She has been the mastermind behind creating one-of-a-kind and ground-breaking programs, which have since become business and educational footprints globally. "The real truth", Ms. Cesare-Taie states, "No project or program is even possible or successful, without the appreciation, talent and brilliance of your team - who make it happen. Two in particular; Tara Clark and Nadine Hamdan."


Since 1982 in California, and since 2002 in Nevada, Phyllis has been a positive force in children's lives creating UNIQUE and educational formats for students of all ages. Under the guidance of professionals, students will enjoy workshops; create their own original music, songs and choreography; design sets, construct costumes, learn FX secrets within the make-up industry and more. They will begin to learn, and experience, what goes into creating Commercials, TV Shows, Theatre and Film Production . . . All

Ms. Cesare-Taie's professional career and education began in early childhood at the age of four. She and her brother, Daniel Thomas Carreon, traveled and performed with the original Disney's Mousekateers as Honorary Mousekateer’s; worked under Director Mervin LaRoy on films such as Gypsy and maintained a diverse involvement within the industry her entire life. She used that experience as a bridged during her late teen and young adult years as a choreographer, director, model and instructor; into her professional career as a Producer/Director/Choreographer and Model.
She began her business career at the age of 16 with internships, paralegal work; associate producer and management training programs with the Disney Corporation, AFI (American Film Institute), MGM Studios, Sony Pictures, MTM Studios and Paramount Studios-(1981-1991); Worked with producer Peter Ueberroth as an associate producer, choreographer and talent coordinator on the 1984 Olympics in Los Angeles (1982-1984). Here, she not only worked on the Olympics’ Opening Ceremonies, but her company Kids of America was selected from thousands of groups, to represent the United States’ “Youth of America” world-wide, in a very special, historical, and televised performance hosted LIVE by the legendary Star of film, television and stage, Shirley Jones and husband Marty Ingles. Its’ audience consisted of over 4,000 heads-of-state, VIP’s and visiting dignitaries world-wide. Ms. Cesare-Taie co-produced, wrote, directed and choreographed the show which depicted our nation’s “teenagers” from the 1940’s to the 1980’s for this televised Olympic event.
1986-1991: As a Talent Coordinator/Choreographer, she then spent several years on assigned projects with Teen Magazine in Los Angeles as an associate producer, consultant and choreographer, and on the “Great Model Search” (for Fox TV) produced by Teen Magazine; and with the Jerry Lewis Telethon.
1986: Hired by Lorimar Telepictures. She began in the Legal Department as a
paralegal, assisting with the studio’s celebrity contracts in television, film and music contracts. Within 6 months Ms. Carreon was promoted to First Run T.V.
Production/Programing which included development, pitching, stage shows, TV game shows (including New Line Cinema's - Nightmare on Elm Street). She was then hired by Stephen Cannell Productions on the television show “Hunter” (1988-1990). Senior Vice- President of Citadel Productions for feature films and television (CEO Richard Leedom) film projects, music videos for MTV and VH1 (1990 -1992).

Founder, Director and Manager of TKO (Technical Knock- Outs) formally known as "Kids of America" - since 1990, specializing in commercials, television, print and live stage, performing at Disneyland, Magic Mountain, Knott’s Berry Farm, Las Vegas, and numerous “special events”. Oldest members took TKO show on tour within the U.S., Japan and Europe.
1994-1998: Commercial Work - Director/Choreographer. Diet Pepsi, Disney Anniversary Special, McDonalds, Power 106, Ford Motor Company, Leggs, Universal Studio Tours, Mattel Toys, Bolivar, Just Say No (Nancy Regan), Gloria Vanderbilt (Jeans), Everybody Loves Milk (product), MCI (Spanish), Aids Awareness, Honda Clearance (1986-1991)
as a Talent Coordinator/Choreographer 1994-1998: Segment Prod./Director with Warner Brothers: Seg. Director; Seg. Producer on assigned projects, Live Stage, Television, Special Events and Outside Promotional Events. Paramount Studios: Began in the Legal Department handling a
multitude of actor and music contracts with Paramount (Music /Film). Promoted to 1st Run Television after 6 months which handled new TV projects from children’s game shows to TV projects such as “Nightmare On Elm Street”. CBS: Television Promotional Events - Asst. to Producer.

1988-1990: Rep/Model/Production: (Special Events & Live Stage) / Choreographer.
Co-Founder of Kids of America – which performed at the 1984 Olympic opening with a special performance for over 4,000 heads of state and signatories’.
(1991 – Current) Founder, Director and Manager of TKO (Technical Knock- Outs) formally known as Kids of America - since 1991, specializing in commercials, television, print and live stage shows, performing at Disneyland, Magic Mountain, Knott’s Berry Farm, in Las Vegas (NV), fundraisers and numerous “special events”. Several of its oldest members have taken the show on tour within the U.S., Japan and Europe.
April, 1999 (Silver Star Studios) Ms. Cesare-Taie is recognized globally for her
achievements with numerous awards. She continues her work and associations with the Make A Wish Foundation, Special Olympics, Easter Seals and multiple charities such as New Vista Ranch (Autistic Children) programs.
Ms. Cesare-Taie has been honored with a multitude of awards; taught courses in producing, directing to modeling; as a motivational speaking; Founder and current President of Women In Film in Las Vegas (40th chapter) since 2002, sits on the International Board for Women In Film (WIFTI) since 2005; currently serves on the advisory board member with the Art Institute in Las Vegas, NV (since 2005); selected as "Entrepreneur Of The Year 2000" EntrepreneurPR voted by Los Angeles & Orange County Business. Assoc. for Management/Business and Life Achievements (2000).
Ms. Cesare-Taie has been made numerous show appearances; been interviewed on CNN, CNN International, NBC, CBS, ABC and FOX as well as invited to appear numerous times as a guest lecturer, Instructor and motivational speaker at the New York Film Festival, American Film Institute (AFI), Women in Film (on Panels) and more.
